Tell your own story of Pierrot and Colombine. During the early nineteenth century, Bohemian-French mime Jean-Gaspard Deburau transformed 'the clown' into the melancholy Pierrot we know today - a heartbroken picture of sadness who hides his feelings through exaggerated facial expressions, mimicking others and silly pranks. Pierrot downhearted nature is due to his unrequited love for Columbine, who, lamentably, loves someone else - Harlequin.
