Loterie Nationale Santa tree

We don't know which year the Loterie Nationale commissioned this poster but any year is a good year for these baubles.  Gouju and Amalric were two designers who created several posters together. Georges Amalric was born in Béziers in 1926. He was a student at the Toulouse School of Fine Arts. In Paris he prepared for a drawing professorship however, he chose to continue his career in advertising and publishing instead. He died Thursday April 14, 2022, at the age of 95.  Little is known of Maurice Gouju other than the fact that he was born in 1924.
