Trouville Festival du Nouveau Rire

Savignac's philosophy for his art  ‘The reading of the poster must be instantaneous, in a fraction of a second’ was not only simple but also effective...  His strength in combining humor with a complex concept in a simple design, is clearly evident in this poster for a comedy festival to be held in Trouville, his beloved home.  Trouville also loved Savignac, re-naming the seafront boardwalk ‘Promenade Savignac’ as a tribute to his art and support of the town.
