Valmya

The Chateau de Valmy website tells us that "Since 1930, our family vineyard has been able to combine the excellence of the wines with the beauty of the vineyard...... At the foot of the Albères massif and overlooking the sea".  This tells us that this charming poster of a raven-haired beauty sipping her sweet wine was one of the vineyard's earliest promotional posters.

One of the great masters of stone lithography, most of Le Monnier's work was done post WW1 in the great printing days that encompassed the art deco period.
