Ever felt like this whilst trying to navigate your way around a busy airport?  It seems that abstract artist Georges Mathieu may have. In 1968, Air France commissioned him to produce 16 different posters.  Using the red, white and blue colours of both the French and American flags, Mathieu has used a process called "tubisim" to apply the paint directly from the tube in long vertical and horizontal lines.  Perhaps he is attempting to suggest the skyscrapers of America.
