This is the Les Affiches Illustrées  reproduction of the Jules Chéret poster advertising a performance at the then Athénée-Comique which, as the title suggests was known for comedy theatre and designed to amuse.  The theatre is now known as Théâtre de l'Athénée and is located at 7 rue Boudreau, in the 9th arrondissement of Paris.  Hosting many beautiful architectural treasures it is commonly considered one of the most beautiful buildings in Paris
