The poster artist is thought to be renowned artist Miroslav Sasek, who went to Hong Kong in the 1960's and captured the vibrancy and colour of the exotic Orient that he had not seen in his homeland of Czechoslovakia The colour palette of this poster makes it an attractive addition to any room. The history of the poster makes it an interesting talking point.......

“One of the earliest posters issued by the HKTA and made available to inbound airlines to promote Hong Kong as a destination. With the symbolic use of a Union Jack flag on the rickshaw passenger's parasol, B.O.A.C. was likely the only airline which would borrow this poster from the HKTA.”
