Choco Nantes

BN Biscuits (or Biscuiterie Nantaise) is a biscuit brand originally hailing from Nantes in France.  In 1933 they developed a revolutionary new snack -  2 golden-baked biscuits sandwiched together with a chocolate-flavoured filling, "just like a super sweet sandwich". The start of the Second World War in 1939 forced the plant to refocus its production to 'hard bread', high in calories and low in price, which was distributed to schoolchildren and war prisoners.  Äccording to the BN website "in 1952, the biscuits factory officially launches the Choco BN with an authentic advertising slogan - "the ready to eat, full snack"- along with ground-breaking promotions: beach tour campaigns, and a publicity fleet travelling along seaside resorts, ... resulting into the explosion of targets and huge sales growth." Considering this, and the poster's theme (a big beach contest hosted by Choco Nantes) we believe it is from the 1952 campaign.
