What is Cognac? Cognac is a high-quality, amber-colored brandy produced exclusively in the Cognac region of France, regulated by strict AOC laws. It is double-distilled from fermented white grapes—primarily Ugni Blanc—and aged for at least two years in French oak casks. Cognac typically has 40–50% ABV and is known for rich, complex flavors. 
Albert Robin is produced by the same company as Brandy Jacquet, Cognac Jacquet and Cognac Robertin
