In this delightful poster showing a young lady wearing a black and white dress and a yellow headscarf even the squirrel likes De Beukelaer Petit Beurre.  These biscuits, Every visitor to france knows this classic French Butter cookie, loved by everybody in France.  They are made in La Haie-Fouassiere, near Nantes in France at a plant that has historically been associated with the LU brand since their invention in 1886.   When Louis Lefèvre created the original square butter cookie he was married to Mademoiselle Utile and this inventive baker romantically decided to place their initials "LU" on every biscuit. LU's biscuit factory today produces about one billion Petit Beurre biscuits a year,
