Geest Brand Apples

Got a kitchen wall that needs a small picture?  This could be your answer.  This Fruit Crate label for Geest Brand claims that Geest is the mark of quality.  Similar to the Aussie Brand label, it features a large map of Australia, leaving the viewer no doubt as to where the apples were grown, and indicates that the crate contains 1 bushel of Apples.   Such vintage Australian fruit labels, designed to be pasted onto the ends of wooden shipping crates before they were exported, have become popular collector's items.
