Ditzler Confitures

Who doesn't love a taste of cherry jam?  Certainly not this happy clown, he enjoys his straight from the can! 

In 1941 the Swiss Federal Department of Home Affairs established the Swiss poster award to raise the quality of Swiss posters. To be eligible for the award entries had to fulfil certain criteria; artistic value, effective advertising techniques and quality of printing techniques. This vibrant and joyful poster was granted the award in 1949.
