Lido Grand Prix

Grand Prix, billed as "The revue of dreams", was the dream of Pierre-Louis Guérin and René Fraday and featured Mary Kelly's (Miss Bluebell) Bluebell Girls.  Premiering December 2, 1964 the bold and seductive production was attended by none other than Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton whose tempestuous relationship (at the time a married couple) was one of Hollywood's most famous romances.

In this poster, Gruau breaks from his customary minimalist style, using bold, vibrant colours to depict the exciting, flashy, and extravagant style Lido was famous for.
