Monsavon Dop

Savignac loved to use humor in his art and claimed that his career began with his 1949 poster, "Monsavon Au Lait" depicting a cow standing on a bar of soap with it's udder draining milk into the bar.  His relationship with Monsavon continues here with a bathtub full of clean children bathed with Monsavon soap and DOP shampoo.

Transforming a basic hygiene product into a luxurious indulgence, Monsavon first launched their lavender perfumed milk soap in 1925. Manufactured in France, it is still available today.
