Montebello Champagne

Simple but stylish, this Montebello Champagne poster would fit perfectly above any bar.  It features Art Deco typography and a classic crest, characteristic of French advertising from that period.

Established by brothers Napoléon-Auguste, Alfred, and Gustave Montebello (the sons of Marshal Lannes, the 1st Duke of Montebello) in 1834, the Champagne Montebello Company was a Champagne house in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ producing Cordon Noir, Cordon Blanc,Maximum Sec, and Brut.  Unfortunately, due to economic difficulties, the business folded in 1929.
