Orangina Sun

Incorporating Villemot's iconic Órangina' orange peel swirl motif, suggesting a hot summer sun, this particular poster is known for its overprinting of text in the bottom left margin which proposes “A dash of fun…”.   Villemot developed the swirl motif to solve a French advertising regulation that prohibited the depiction of fruit when advertising drinks that contain less than 20% juice.  The motif is used in many of his Orangina posters. The bottle shown in the poster is Orangina's signature bottle design featuring pebbled glass which mimics the feel of an orange peel.
