The "King of Trains", the Orient Express, was the dream of Georges Nagelmackers - a train that took its passengers on a voyage of Art Deco luxury departing from Gare de l'Est in Paris and travelling a picturesque route through Strasbourg, Munich, Vienna, Budapest and Bucharest, ending in Constantinople (Istanbul) Turkey.  Nagelmackers' dream revolutionized travel in Europe with opulent carriages, haute cuisine served with tableware designed to elevate the dining experience, luxurious sleeping cars and First-class service.  This poster for the luxury journey features a stylized depiction of the train, with a wine bottle held by a gloved attendant.  It may be a print proof or test run as no information has been added but the lack of information makes for a sharp, clean poster.
