Ovignac Senglet Egg Yellow

Ovignac Senglet is a brand of Eierlikör (egg liqueur) that features a blend of Swiss egg liqueur and French Cognac.  It is important to note that while Cognac is a key ingredient, Ovignac Senglet is specifically an egg liqueur, not just a straight Cognac. The artist, Hans Peter Sommer, has chosen to reinforce this thought using the comical image of a stylized rooster, whose body takes the form of an egg.  Overprinted on the egg is a bottle of the liqueur with the brand's tagline, "The real egg Cognac", clarified in both German and French on its label.
