Saint-Denis

A striking and quirky poster by Michel Quarez for Saint-Denis, a historical subub in the north of Paris where he lived.  Perhaps this poster was designed to reflect the highly diverse and mixed population of the area.  Known for its rich multicultural identity, with residents representing over 130 nationalities. it is often described as a hub where "France meets Africa",  It is also renowned for the Basilica-Cathedral of Saint-Denis which is the burial site of most of France's kings and is known as the birthplace of Gothic architecture
