Judy Garland sang, in the 1945 film "The Harvey Girls", the Santa Fe Railroad "mustn't quit till we hit California" - this poster, part of a set of 5 posters designed for the Southern Pacific & Santa Fe Railroad, suggests beachside fun in the sunny state of California (because of course "Seems it never rains in southern California").  A vibrant and happy poster to cheer those dreary winter days and remind us of summer fun (and a 1970's song).
