This timeless artwork reflects the city's ancient Nordic heritage - printed in 1953 to celebrate the 700 year anniversary.  It was the winner of a nation wide poster competition.  Fun fact: the anniversary was 1952 but celebrations were delayed for a year because of the Helskini olympics.
